Ratecard equivalent impacts are the weighted cost of ad insertions based on the time length that varies from the standard ad insertion period (typically 30 seconds). The ratecard equivalent impacts are not directly proportion to the time factor. Short segments (such as 10 seconds) are usually a higher percentage weighting than longer segments. A sample time length weighting factor is 50 % for 5 to 10 seconds, 80% for 15 to 25 seconds, 100% for 30 seconds (the reference time interval), 150% for 35 to 45 seconds, and 200% for 50 to 60 seconds.
